How to Delete Your Data
Option 1: Export First, Then Delete Recommended
- Open Forge.OS and go to Settings
- Tap Export Data to save a .Forge backup file or QR code — this lets you restore later if you change your mind
- Once exported, proceed with Option 2 or Option 3 below
Option 2: Wipe Data In-App Keeps App Installed
- Open Forge.OS and go to Settings
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Wipe All Data
- Confirm the prompt — this permanently deletes all workouts, exercises, templates, PRs, nutrition logs, and preferences from your device
This leaves the App installed but resets it to a clean state, as if freshly installed.
Option 3: Uninstall the App Removes Everything
- iOS: Long-press the Forge.OS icon → Remove App → Delete App
- Android: Long-press the Forge.OS icon → Uninstall → OK
Uninstalling permanently removes the App and all associated data from your device. This action cannot be undone.
Subscription Data (RevenueCat)
If you've made in-app purchases, an anonymous purchase record is stored with our payment processor, RevenueCat. This record contains:
- An anonymous user ID (not linked to your name or email)
- Purchase transaction records (what subscription plan, when purchased)
To have this anonymous RevenueCat record deleted, email us at [email protected] with the subject line "RevenueCat Data Deletion Request" and we will submit the deletion request to RevenueCat on your behalf.
Note: Deleting this record means you will lose the ability to restore any past purchases associated with that anonymous ID.
What We DON'T Store
To be explicit about what there is no need to request deletion of:
- Your workout logs, personal records, or training history — stored on device only
- Your nutrition logs — stored on device only
- Your exercise library, templates, or routines — stored on device only
- Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers — never collected
- Your location — never collected
- Crash logs or analytics — not collected
- Health data beyond what's stored in your local workout record — not transmitted anywhere
